Dietikon & Dietlikon Visits!

Our apartment viewing went well and we'll keep you posted if it all goes through, but we think we might have found our place.
On to our adventure of the day...we thought we'd make a trip to the IKEA store to check out furniture. We left our temp housing approximately 12:45pm. Seven hours later, we have returned! (And no, it wasn't because of how thoroughly we toured the IKEA store.)
Matt and I scrambled down the stairs at the main train station in Zurich to see our train depart. We sat on the bench for about 10 minutes, saw a train to Dietikon, and jumped aboard. It wasn't too long wondering around Dietikon did we realize that we actually needed to go to Dietlikon, and we hadn't waited long enough in the Zurich station. What a cruel joke by the trainmasters...Matt and I will have to learn how to read signs more carefully! (The pictures above show Matt in Dietikon and me in Dietlikon.)
IKEA was just as it is in the States, right down to the meatballs. We took our time wandering, then decided to walk back to the Dietlikon train station, which turned out to be further then we had remembered. When we returned to Zurich, we had to catch a tram more out of the way then usual as the regular route was shut down for some reason or another.
Regardless, we were glad to return to our apartment-for-now and it's been a good lesson that things sometimes take a little longer then usual when you're getting the hang of a new place.
We're heading down to our (hopefully) new neighborhood now to check out the nightlife and restaurants. Looks like we'll have a guest room, so start booking your trips folks!
