Jim & Julie Arrive!
After delays due to weather in O’Hare and missed connections from late airplane arrivals, my parents finally made it to Zurich, sans luggage. Three of the four bags arrived yesterday, so they are now with clothing and I have plenty of packaged items from the U.S. (Including some easy cheese for Matt in case he gets tired of the real deal!) However the fourth bag, or box should we say, is my bicycle which has not turned up yet. Hopefully this will be found and delivered soon.
We are spending today checking out some sights in Zurich and tomorrow will be celebrating National Day with the Swiss. Then off for 6 days of touring France by car. Hopefully all the bad travel luck is behind us now!

This is awesome! Loved seeing the pics and hearing the stories - especially the grocery store excursion. If you knock off the beer consumption - you're grocery bill will be cut in half (at least that's what my Mom always said!)
Have a good time travelling with Mom and Dad - make sure they pay for all the meals!
