Quiet please!

Upon reading a book "Living and Working in Switzerland" provided by Matt's company, we've stumbled upon a bit of information that is a bit unusual and somewhat entertaining, so I was compelled to share.
The chapter discusses the rules which you may be obliged to follow for neighborhood blocks or apartment units. Most of the rules apply to noise, as it seems the Swiss have a stricter standard for quieter living then we do in the U.S. (On Sundays, it's forbidden to work unless and it's expected to be a day of rest in which noise must be kept to a minimum.) The rule that got us chuckling was the one about using the restroom during the evening:
"Last but not least, don't flush the toliet between 10pm and 6am and 'gentlement please sit down when using the toliet between these hours' (this is an actual example from an expensive apartment block in Zurich, presumably with very thin walls)."
Wow, they aren't kidding around with this noise thing. I'll let you all know if this rule ends up in our apartment contract...
