Oktoberfest Zurich Style

Last night Matt and I spent the evening with some expat friends from Minnesota. We ventured out to Zurich's Oktoberfest celebration. When we arrived at 7:30 pm, it was still quite tame. It wasn't long before the liters of beer kicked in and the crowd livened considerably. The band played a mix of American music (highlights were YMCA and Gloria) and German drinking songs. It was a great warm up for the real deal in Munich next weekend!
