One of the trick fountains in action

It was just a quick overnight in Salzburg on our way back to Zürich. We stopped at the Hellbrunn Palace and Fountains for a tour. This was a relaxing day in the Austrian countryside, just outside of Salzburg town. The tour of the fountains was led by a multi-lingual guide who gave a brief explanation of each fountain, then would turn the knobs to make the fountains go. It often led with some of the visitors getting a quick squirt. We particularly enjoyed the Palace (though it was more of a house) tour, which came with a great audio explanation to the artwork and rooms. Our final stop at the grounds was to get a look at the Pavilion used during the filming of "The Sound of Music" for the song "I Am Sixteen Going on Seventeen."
