Near Mythenquai was a light show put on by Swiss artist Peter Kozma. The changing images projected onto three buildings along the lake rotated about every minute exhibiting creative color and dimensional displays

Matt and I spent the weekend partying all over town as the once-every-three-year Züri Fäscht was in full swing. The state fair style party boosted eighty musicians on stages that sprung from almost every corner along the Limmat and the lake. There was carnival rides, market stands, loads of food booths, and entertainment programs from 5 pm on Friday until midnight on Sunday. Since there was activity right out our door, we were drawn out into the action both day and night all weekend long.
On Sunday morning my cousin's boyfriend Angus arrived from the States. He is in town for a week of work training, and we are glad to be hosting him for his stay. While he didn't get to see the fireworks shows on both Friday and Saturday night, he did get a taste of what the weekend had to offer. What a way to combat jetlag, huh?
