Oktoberfest & Luzern

Last weekend we had the companionship of my cousin April and her husband Kent. They came all the way from Iowa to join up with our friend Christine from Minneapolis (currently working in Geneva) and her brother David. The six of us took a train ride north to Munich for a couple nights of Oktoberfest. While the beer wasn't particularly kind to me this year, we all had a good time lifting some steins. After our return to Zurich - April, Kent, and I went to Luzern to visit the peaks of Mt. Pilatus. We had great weather and saw amazing scenary. We loved having them visit. Can't wait to get back in November and see their little sweetheart, baby Cale. We are off in 45 minutes to our overnight train to Rome. In Italy for a week....Later! Jill
