Sarah and Kay in Deutschland

Just a few more pictures from the visit of my sister-in-law Sarah and her mom:

For Kay, a must in Europe was the Black Forest - home to the Cuckoo Clock. After visiting the German Clock Museum in Furtwangen, we headed north to Triberg. Shopping was good and Kay even got her own Cuckoo!
A sign I found humorous outside a cafe in Furtwangen. Shame they were closed for the day or I would have gone in and practived my broken German with them :)
Kay enjoys her Weissen beer at the Hofbräuhaus in Münich

Sarah got our busy waitress (wearing a traditional Bavarian dirndl) to pause for a quick photo after dinner

We could have stayed longer, but we might have ended up like this:

I saw this picture randomly surfing the internet and thought it was hilarious. It was taken at the Hofbräuhaus where it's tradition to clink steins together and on the table before drinking. This can sometimes get a little out of control because the liter of beer plus heavy glass stein are heavy and you see the results when it gets a little too boisterous.
